Did you sell out last season?
Yes! We are proud to say our last 8 events (3 years) have sold out. We have two shifts each day so there aren't hundreds of players on the field at the same time. This happens to often and players get lost. We limit per position to ensure ample playing time on day two and drill time on day one. No showcase will give you or your son more exposure.
Are there payment plans?
No there are not. We have several up-front costs upon sign-up. We take our commitment to you very seriously.
Are there local airports for the event?
Yes. Our showcases are perfect for players and families flying in. Please see the following:
Event 1 Airports:
Event 2 Airports:
Event 3 Airports:
Do you recommend any hotels?
All players/parents are free to choose any hotel. Here are a few we recommend.

How many players at your showcase? Are they split up?
YES. Our showcase is great because we will never have more than 100 position players on the field at once on day one and never more than 65 players on day two because we split our showcase in to shifts.
We also limit our positions to a certain amount to ensure each prospect receives proper exposures. Other showcases have 225+ players on the field at the same time, on multiple fields where the coaches don't get to focus on YOU or your son. These events have coaches spread out sometimes on to 6 fields or TWO different locations.
We make sure each position has it's own "showcase spotlight". Coaches are not distracted by anything else going on.
Please remember though, the reason we have the most coaches in the country is because they know there will be a lot of talent at our event from all over the east coast.
What time do I need to be at the I-95 Metro Select Showcase on day one?
Your time will be given time 3 days in advance (Through e-mail) . All details will be e-mailed you.
Players traveling MORE than 210 miles will be in the after-noon (day one ONLY). AM shift will be approximately 8:05AM, PM shift will be approximately 1:45PM.
Day Two - NO time requests can be granted. Games are split by: graduation class & positions and can not be altered (three separate games that are each 3+hours). These are set 48 hours prior. No game will start before 8:10AM, no game will finish later than 7:30PM.
Do players attend multiple showcases?
Of course! Each event is another chance to be seen. In addition each event will have 25% different coaches attending. Many players will attend 2 or all 3.
Will you have multiple fields going on at the same time during game day?
No. This is a huge advantage for your son. Too many showcases have games going on two, three or four fields with scouts spread out. Most scouts are at the one game looking at certain players, but not at our showcase. We will have a centralized location where all the game action will take place.
What if my son is a two way player?
That is great. Players will showcase multiple positions (if applicable) over the two day event. Our main focus IS primary position.
How do you record the metrics?
Our professional staff is responsible for recording all metrics through the two day event, including: Positional velocity, pitching velocity, exit speed, POP time, 60 yd. dash. These are sent to all coaches days after the event and all players and parents at the end of the summer.
Does I-95 Metro Baseball Showcase provide anything after the event?
YES we provide an measurable sheet. This includes: Exit Velocity, 60 Yd. Dash, Pop Time, Throwing Velocity, Pitching Velocity.
Will I-95 Metro Baseball Showcase send this information to college coaches?
YES. Every coach/school that attends, will have full access to the data sheet after the event. We feel it is important that are able to track the progress of each player each season and to have on file when they are recruiting.
Will my son or myself get to interact with college coaches?
Yes! College coaches will be holding numerous talks with the players and will also have specific times to discuss topics with parents. Our coaches are on the field the entire course of the event and will constantly be interacting with players. We do want the coaches eyes focused on the players during the event. At the showcase each player/parent will be provided a full list of colleges and college coaches contacts. Coaches will be in the dug-out on day two for our game portion.
What if my son gets injured?
We will have a medical staff member. Our staff also has members that are CPR certified and Concussion certified. Any serious injury, an ambulance will be called. There are no refunds for injuries at any time.
What type of bats should we use?
ALL players will use -3 BBCOR
Can we wear metal cleats?
Yes. Players should also have turfs (Bad weather, no cleats inside).
Will pitchers only pitch?
No. At our event if you are a two-way player you will showcase both of your skills. If you are a pitcher only, you will only pitch (both days).
What if my son is a pitcher only?
Pitchers are always at a premium and always get heavily recruited. Pitchers will be show-cased by themselves each day. Pitchers will throw a pitch bullpen on day 1 in front of every coach. Pitchers will then throw live on game day (day two). Last year we had 49 pitchers only that attended and coaches recruited them heavily. SAME price for pitcher only.
Will players eat lunch?
No. We will have two sessions (AM/PM) and we want to maximize our time on the field.
How much playing time in the game will my son receive?
We have a "dynamic" game set-up, which is structured different than a regular game. Each primary pitcher is guaranteed to throw to 4 batters. Each primary fielder is guaranteed to play 3 innings Each primary position player is guaranteed 2 at-bats in the game.
What does team represented mean? Do any schools back out?
The school will send their: head coach, assistant coach, pitching coach or recruiting coordinator. Most schools are sending their head recruiting coordinators, assistant coach or pitching coach but more than several have their head coaching attending. Our coaches will be there day 1 and/or day 2. Some coaches prefer to see game action, some coaches prefer to see skill evaluation. Some coaches because of their schedule can only attend one day. Many of our schools/coaches will be there both days. The specific coaches names will be posted at least 2 weeks prior to the event and will be on the home-page.
The schools you see on our confirmed list have confirmed at least THREE times with us they will be at the event. Sometimes there is rare case of a family emergency, where a school/coach can't make it or the fact a coach is no longer with the school. Last year 92.3% of our coaches attended.
What should we do if interested in a certain school?
Our suggestion for you moving forward is to e-mail any and all schools that are confirmed to be at our event and let them know your interest. Let them know WHY you are interested in the school and what you can bring to the school, classroom and the baseball team. Ask when are their upcoming camps are. MAKE SURE to take your time and write proper e-mails. This topic will be covered at our pre-camp meeting.
What happens if I can only attend one day?
You are more than welcome. Remember, some schools will be in attendance just 1 of the 2 days. We can not discount our rate because we are limiting the numbers of players per session. Your information will be sent out to every coach in attendance (even on the day you aren't there).
Does I-95 Metro Select I.D. Showcase provide a video?
Yes. Each player will get a personal video from day one. This will be sent out at the end of the summer.
Does I95 Metro Baseball support any charity?
