I-95 Metro Baseball 5 Tool Skills Combine

1: WILL ANY COLLEGES BE IN ATTENDANCE AT THE I95 5 TOOL METRIC COMBINE?

No. On September 15, 2020 the NCAA D1 council instituted a dead period that is expected to run through May 1, 2021. In addition MANY D2/D3 schools are not permitted off campus. This event is set up in a different format FOR the coaches. Our focus will be on getting the players an incredible recruiting video, verified metrics and written evaluation. We will then be sending all individual player information to our database of 140 college schools. Our first two combines have been a huge success with over 50 players committing from our events.

2: WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PERSONAL RECRUITING VIDEO, VERIFIED METRICS & DATA & WRITTEN EVALUATION? WILL PLAYERS GET TO KEEP THEIR INFORMATION?

All players will receive their personal recruiting video, verified metrics & data by March 13. All 140+ college programs and 175 coaches in our database who we have direct relationships with will receive by March 15 and sent from I95 Metro Baseball. In addition ALL players & parents will be able to share this information with anyone they see fit with their OWN personal page.

3: HOW MANY PLAYERS WILL BE ACCEPTED TO THE I95 5 TOOL METRIC COMBINE?

60 Primary Position Players/15 Primary Pitchers per session. Sportika is the largest facility on the east coast.

4: WHERE HAVE SOME I95 METRO BASEBALL PLAYERS COMMITTED TO PLAY COLLEGE BASEBALL?

Entering our fifth season, we now have over 325 committed players and 98 Division 1 players. Listed below are just a FEW schools where our players have committed too. 5: WHAT TIME IS THE I95 5 TOOL METRIC COMBINE?

Our I95 Metro Baseball Combine will have two or three shifts. Combine will NOT start before 8AM and not end past 6PM. Your time will be posted 72 hours prior to the event. Your session time will be posted on our homepage on Friday February 12. You will arrive 30 minutes prior to your session for sign-in. No requests. We break our “session times” by positions and graduation classes. Each session will be between 3.5-4.5 hours.

6: WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

There are NO REFUNDS or CREDITS for any-reason. This is agreed to upon sign-up. Each player receives a personalized experience and can not be substituted for. Please review our refund/credit policy on our home-page. Our event offers a customized experience, tailored to each player’s unique background, position, distance traveled. I95 Metro Baseball has significant upfront costs per sign up (videographer, insurance, facility staff, material). Withdrawals from the event significantly impact substantial portions of our shifts, videographer, coaches packet and more.

7: WILL THERE BE GAMES PLAYED AT THE I95 5 TOOL METRIC COMBINE?

No. This is about individual players getting to perform their skills. We will have live BP on the field. We will have extended bullpens and many metrics for the boys to perform throughout the day.

8: WHAT IF MY SON IS A PITCHER ONLY?

Pitchers are far and away the most sought after position. Their video, rapsodo report, verified metrics, profile make this a CAN’T MISS event for pitchers. Price and schedule remains the same.

9: WHO IS RUNNING THE EVENT? WHO IS PUTTING THE EVENT TOGETHER?

The same staff from the very successful 2016 -2020 showcase series is back. The event is being put together by a collective group of premier High School coaches and instructors from: Long Island, New York City, Connecticut and New Jersey. All staff have college playing and/or coaching experience. Each event has a staff of at least 14 to help ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible and coaches are focused on the student-athletes.

10: ARE THERE PAYMENT PLANS?

No there are not. We have several up-front costs upon sign-up. We take our commitment to you very seriously.

11: ARE THERE LOCAL AIRPORTS FOR THE EVENT?

The following airports are all less than 1 hour drive from the facility:

• Trenton Mercer Airport (TTN)

12: DO YOU RECOMMEND ANY HOTELS?

All players/parents are free to choose any hotel.

13: WHAT IF MY SON IS A TWO WAY PLAYER?

Pitchers and catchers will also showcase their secondary position. Position players will showcase their primary but their profile will include their secondary position as well as their verified metrics, BP and evaluation. Coaches want to see you at your BEST only.

14: WHAT IF MY SON GETS INJURED?

We will have a medical staff member. Our staff also has members that are CPR certified and Concussion certified. Any serious injury, an ambulance will be called. There are no refunds or credits for injuries.

15: WHAT TYPE OF BATS SHOULD WE USE?

ALL players will use -3 BBCOR

16: CAN WE WEAR CLEATS?

No. Players should have/wear sneakers and turf baseball shoes.

17: DOES I95 METRO BASEBALL SUPPORT ANY CHARITY?
