EVENT QUESTION AND ANSWERS
Entering our ninth season, we now have over 800 committed players and 200+ Division 1 players. Listed here are just a FEW schools where our players have committed to.
No. This event is set up in a different format FOR the coaches. Our focus will be on getting the players an incredible recruiting video, verified metrics and written evaluation. We will then be sending all individual player information to our database of 95 college programs. Our first four combines have been a huge success with over 140 players committing from our events and 45,000 player views.
All players will receive their personal recruiting video, verified metrics, profile, report & data by March 20. All 95+ college programs and 125 coaches in our database who we have direct relationships with will receive directly from I95 Metro Baseball. In addition ALL players & parents will be able to share this information with anyone they see fit with their OWN personal page.
95 total players and no more than 15 players at one position (excluding pitchers).
YES, we have had players from all 50 states and four countries attend our events over the last several years. Our events are located in the “hub” of both the most college baseball programs (within 180 mile radius) and the highest concentration of academic colleges (within 180 mile radius). For those reasons, an event this magnitude with this list of schools will ONLY be held in this region. Whether it is the IVY league schools or Vanderbilt, Duke, Richmond, Tennessee, Penn St., Wake Forest, UVA, Florida, Notre Dame, Texas, Coastal Carolina and many others, this is the most convenient location and that is why it is a destination for players from all over the country. Last year we had 39 players from California, 45 from Florida and 31 from Texas.
Yes, we are proud to say our last 21 events have sold out! Thank you to all our players, parents & coaches.
Our I95 Metro Baseball Combine will run 7:00AM-1:00PM on Sunday February 16, 2025.
No. This is about individual players getting to perform their skills and put their skills on film. We will have live BP on the field. We will have extended bullpens and many metrics for the boys to perform throughout the day along with multiple camera angles.
Pitchers are far and away the most sought after position. Their multi-angled video, verified metrics, profile make this a CAN’T MISS event for pitchers. Price and schedule remains the same.
The same staff from the very successful 2016 -2024 showcase series is back. The event is being put together by a collective group of premier High School coaches and instructors from: Long Island, New York City, Connecticut and New Jersey. All staff have college playing and/or coaching experience. Each event has a staff of at least 12 to help ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible and coaches are focused on the student-athletes.
No. We have several up-front costs upon sign-up. We take our commitment to you very seriously.

The focus of the combine is YOUR PRIMARY POSITION. Less than 5% of college players are two-way players. This event is for the next 4 years, not the past 4 years. If you/your son feels he is a true two-way player for COLLEGE SHOWCASING PURPOSES (not what position he can/does play), please select the secondary position, otherwise select none and focus on your best, which is what we strongly encourage.

YES. I95 Metro Baseball is open to Any and ALL 2025-2029 graduates (Limited by availability).
- I95 has the MOST college coaches of ANY event in North America. (75)
- I95 has the MOST D1 college coaches of ANY event in North America. (45)
- I95 has well rooted relationships with EVERY school and every coach in attendance. A year-round relationship.
- Our events are held ONLY at stadiums.
- ALL activities/games are conducted on one field (stadium). ALL COLLEGE COACHES EYES ON YOU.
- I95 Metro Baseball will only host 3 events per year. We are exclusive and premium.
- The president & owner of I95 Metro Baseball attends and runs EVERY event (not just a coordinator).
- I95 has colleges from over 20 states attending. The only TRUE NATIONAL SHOWCASE.
- I95 lists not only the specific schools but ALSO the specific coaches name attending (not just a logo).
- I95 has 820+ committed players from our last 15 events, including 200+ D1.
- Our college coaches attend to EVALUATE and RECRUIT (not “work the event) – They do not conduct on-field activities or drills (throw bp, hit fungos). They are taking notes, interacting, scouting and recruiting.
- I95 has the MOST staff running the event in the country (not the college coaches!)
- Our games are separated by graduation class (not just random).
- Our sessions are separated by position/location/GPA (not just random).
- We provide the MOST detailed information to college coaches.
- We provide the MOST detailed information to attending players & parents.
- We provide the metrics to coaches AND players and parents (post event)
- We have the TOP relationships with the TOP SCHOOLS and TOP COACHES from across the country.
We are not sure why the focus of so many parents and players is “how many kids are there”. The focus should be on what YOU bring as a player and who is there watching you. We also have multiple sessions, multiple game slots.
Our structure, format and staff make SURE your player has an incredible opportunity. ALL EYES ON YOU. ONE FIELD. 70+ COACHES. 40+ D1. ONE SKILL AT A TIME. MULTIPLE SESSIONS. LIMITED POSITIONS, 2:1 Coach to player ratio. Coaches NOT conducting drills, coaches RECRUITING, SCOUTING, TAKING NOTES, UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. Our college coaches come to our event to: recruit, scout, interact and take notes. They do NOT perform the on-field drills or activities like other events. How could they take notes if they are “teaching” or hitting fungos or throwing BP? THEY CAN’T! I95 is the top NATIONAL RECRUITING EVENT of this magnitude.
For some reason parents have NO issue traveling to tournaments with 50, 100, 200 or even 400 teams and 10, 20, 30, 40, 50+ fields in the hopes of MAYBE being seen by a few schools but they want to attend a showcase where there are an abundance of great colleges but not many players. That doesn’t make sense to us or our college programs.
College coaches have THEIR criteria for what they want in a player. There is a wide variety of schools, divisions, academic profiles etc. If there was ONE player or ONE THOUSAND players, their criteria do not change, so shouldn’t you get in front of the BEST and MOST schools in a stadium setting? What matters is WHO is watching, not who else is there.
I95 Metro Baseball also has a unique format in regards to player location, position(s) and graduation years, all to help players in their recruiting journey which includes multiple sessions. We limit our positions to a certain amount to ensure each prospect receives the exact exposure REQUESTED from college coaches (Volume/Skills).
Players (and parents) should focus only on YOU and to perform to the best of your abilities, we will take care of the rest. There is no other event that offers the: schools, coaches, venue, structure, format, reputation, history all on one STADIUM field. The focus should be on your: skills, metrics, GPA and what YOU bring to the table. Not “how many players are there?”. Going to a “smaller” camp with less kids will not help you/your son be recruited, quite the opposite, the TOP schools won’t be there. You need the right structure, the right format and THE RIGHT schools to be there live. Not viewing a profile or looking at “top” metrics on a website. Regardless of if there are 25, 250 or 2,500 players attending, we run the showcase FOR the college coaches with ALL EYES ON YOU. We make sure each position has its own “showcase spotlight”. Coaches are not distracted or hitting fungos, throwing BP or signing players in. We take OUR TIME and make sure each player is seen HOW THE COLLEGE COACHES WANT ALL ON ONE FIELD. YOU WANT THE BEST TEAM, THE BEST TOURNAMENTS, THE BEST INSTRUCTORS, THE BEST SCHOOLS, well I95 Metro Baseball is the BEST recruiting & evaluating event..
Our goal is to provide players from all over the country the BEST college baseball showcase experience.
Our event includes (Weather Permitting):
• 2 Day Registration (Skill Day/Game Day)
• Verified Player Metrics (Sent to parents, players & coaches)
• Recruiting talks – Several of the top college coaches across the USA.
• Recruiting Seminar – President of I95 MEtro Baseball
• Eligibility for National Rankings
Entering our sixth season, we now have over 750 committed players and 175 Division 1 players. Please view the link here.
Players have gone on to schools that include: Vanderbilt, Duke, Coastal Carolina, Richmond, Penn St., Florida St., Notre Dame, Columbia, Brown, Princeton, Boston College, Villanova, James Madison, West Virginia and HUNDREDS more. Are YOU next?
We take our event very seriously, so please give it the time it deserves. The event will run from 6AM-8PM with two shifts on day one and four game slots on day two.
Your session times will be posted 72 hours prior to the event.
No requests. We break our “session times” by positions and graduation classes and format the event so each player receives maximum exposure.
• Day 1 – Expect each session to be 6-7 hours.
• Day 2 – Expect each game to be 3-3.5 hours.
YES, we have had players from all 50 states and five countries attend our events over the last several years. We are the top NATIONAL showcase. Our events are located in the “hub” of both the most college baseball programs (within 180 mile radius) and the highest concentration of academic colleges (within 180 mile radius). For those reasons, an event this magnitude with this list of schools will ONLY be held in this region.
Yes, we are proud to say our last 17 events have sold out! Thank you to all our players, parents & coaches. Sign-up in advance. We send out bi-weekly rosters to coaches, so they know who to keep an eye on in the upcoming event.
The following airports are all less than 1 hour drive each stadium:
• Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) (ONLY 20 Minutes)
• John F Kennedy Airport (JFK)
• LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
Our events are RAIN or SHINE. There are no refunds or credits. All activities are weather permitting. The decision to be on turf is a big advantage.
In the event of bad weather we will do everything in our power to have the skill portion performed and players exposed to the coaches as much as possible including extending hours.. We know how important this is to you and your family and we recognize that. An event will never be canceled for weather and there are NO refunds or future credits once the event is 10 days away. We will do the best we can to complete the activities that are scheduled. Once again, there are no credits, refunds or transfers despite weather issues. All of our expenses are paid in advance of our events.
The “skills” portion of our showcase takes priority. If there is a weather issue on day one, day two will become the skills portion. This is UNANIMOUSLY requested from our coaches.
Of course! Each event is another chance to be seen. In addition each event will have 15-20% different coaches/schools. Many players will attend multiple showcases.
No. This is a huge advantage for your son. Too many showcases have games going on two, three or four fields with scouts spread out. Most scouts are at the one game looking at certain players, but not at our showcase. We will have a centralized location where all the game action will take place.
Our BP sessions will take place on the field with all coaches watching from less than 25 feet away (Weather permitting).
Our professional staff is responsible for recording all measurables through the two day event, including: Positional velocity, pitching velocity, exit speed, POP time, 60 yd. dash. These are sent to all players and parents 41 days after the events.
YES. Every coach/school that attends, will have full access to the data sheet 3 days after the event. We feel it is important that we are able to track the progress of each player each season and to have on file when they are recruiting.
No. We will have two sessions (AM/PM) and we want to maximize our time on the field.
No, our focus this summer will be on the stadium series experience and our incredible college coaches.
I95 Metro Baseball will be hosting a COMBINE which provides a unique opportunity for players to receive a full recruiting profile including: Multiple angle videos, More metrics, Profile Page, Reports & more.
Yes, attendance is free and parents are encouraged to attend. There are NO parents within the first 4 rows of the stadium. Talking to your son during the event, before the event or after the event on the field will NEGATIVELY impact their recruitment. We encourage you to attend, watch and listen to all of our featured speakers.
The school (college) will send their: head coach, assistant coach, pitching coach or recruiting coordinator. Most schools are sending their head recruiting coordinators, assistant coach or pitching coach but more than several have their head coaching attending. 93% of our schools/coaches will be there both days. Some coaches, because of their schedule, can only attend one day.
The schools you see on our confirmed list have confirmed at least FIVE times with us they will be at the event. Sometimes there is a rare case of a family emergency, where a school/coach can’t make it or the coach is no longer with the school due to coaching change. Last year over 95% of our posted coaches attended. We pride ourselves on the accuracy and honesty of our respected schools & coaches. Our rapport with the programs are second to none. Once again outside of a family emergency or staff changes our schools & coaches will be there in person!
Over the course of the two days players will perform both, please note coaches want to see you at your BEST only. It is VERY important that your primary position is listed correctly on our registration form. Secondary pitchers will pitch only in the game (as well as their primary). Primary pitchers will throw day one and day two in the game.
Pitchers are far and away the most sought after position. Their verified metrics, profile and fact they pitch on BOTH days make this a CAN’T MISS event for pitchers. Price and schedule remains the same.
Day 2 is our “Prime Day” games. This is something coaches have requested for YEARS and now implemented in our showcase. We have a “dynamic” game set-up, which is structured differently than a regular game. WEATHER PERMITTING – Each primary pitcher is guaranteed to throw to at least 4 batters. Each primary position player is guaranteed to play 3 innings. Each primary position player is guaranteed 2 at-bats in the game. Each secondary pitcher will throw to 3+ batters.
The focus on day two is your PRIMARY position ONLY. This is BEST vs. BEST. We are an elite national college baseball showcase. Coaches want to see players at their best. This allows players MORE playing time in the game and MORE of a focus on what they do best. This will greatly help in the recruiting process. “More” is not necessarily better. On day one ALL pitchers will throw a bullpen. On day one ALL catchers will showcase as a catcher. On day one ALL position players will take BP. On “prime day”, the games will be separated by graduation classes (2025/2026 and 2027/2028 – unique to I95 Metro Baseball only!) and you will play your primary position. You will be able to showcase your secondary skills on day one. All games will be held on one field in front of all coaches. All eyes on you! All players coached by college coaches.
Our suggestion for you moving forward is to email any and all schools that were confirmed to be at our event and let them know your interest and you will be attending I95 Metro Baseball. Let them know WHY you are interested in the school and what you can bring to the school, classroom and the baseball team. Ask when their camps are being held. The I95 Metro Baseball recruiting seminar (pre-camp meeting) will explain the best way to contact coaches post events.
You are more than welcome. We can not discount our rate because we are limiting the numbers of players per session. Your information will be sent out to every coach in attendance (even on the day you aren’t there).
No there are not. We have several up-front costs upon sign-up. We take our commitment to you very seriously. We send out bi-monthly rosters to coaches, so they know who to keep an eye on.
ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.Requests received at least ten (10) days PRIOR to the start of the purchased event will receive a credit in the amount of 50% of the purchasing price. This is for ANY reason. This credit is valid for 10 months and can be used for our I95 Metro Baseball Stadium Series events. Any “request” for a credit less than ten (10) days prior to the start of the purchased event will forfeit their registration fees. NO EXCEPTIONS. I95 Metro Baseball runs the premier events in the country and has up-front fees and commitments paid out prior to each event. Cancellations within ten (10) days of the event impact us in a negative way. ALL activities are weather permitting and our events are rain or shine.
