Premium Event: The Fall Skills Classic
I95 Metro Baseball IS the gold standard. We host exactly one Fall event to keep us at the pinnacle of showcases. This is your unique opportunity to perform before 60+ colleges, including 35+ Division 1 programs, all in a single day.
No More Hoping: The entire event takes place on a single stadium field with one activity happening at a time. No player is missed, and every coach in attendance sees every single repetition. No hoping to pitch that day, no hoping to get a ball hit to you. No hoping you get a pitch to hit. Your skill set on display.
The Best Coaching List in the Country
This isn’t just a local event. We bring in top college coaches from 12+ states and 20 different conferences, representing:
- Elite Academic Institutions (including Ivy League and top-tier private universities).
- Powerhouse Programs: Multiple Top 10 baseball programs and D1, D2, and D3 National Championship programs within the last 5 years.
- Featured Schools Attending: South Carolina, Duke, Notre Dame, Coastal Carolina, Yale, Columbia, Brown, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi State, Villanova, Johns Hopkins, and many others.
Every single college coach is on ONE field, at the same time, watching your son perform.
The One-Field Advantage: Format & Structure
At almost every other showcase, college coaches are tasked with “running” the event—throwing batting practice, hitting fungos, or recording 60-yard dash times. How can they properly evaluate and take notes when they are doing the dirty work? Worse, they are often spread across 3 or 4 different fields, meaning you never truly know who is watching.
The I95 Metro Baseball difference:
- Dedicated 12-Person Staff: Our team runs every single drill, station, and timeline.
- 100% Focus on Evaluation: Because our staff runs the show, college coaches are completely free to evaluate, take notes, and interact directly with players.
- One Field, Zero Distractions: The entire event takes place on a single stadium field with one activity happening at a time. No player is missed, and every coach in attendance sees every repetition.
- Exclusive Player Packets: Coaches hold a detailed, exclusive information packet for every player, making it seamless for them to identify and track talent.
Skills Showcase: What Really Matters
Players compete in games all Spring, Summer, and Fall. But in a standard 9-inning game, you might only get a couple of touches. College coaches want to see your actual individual skill set.
Our one-day format is built specifically around what college coaches requested:
- Live On-Field BP: Hit directly on the field with all coaches lined up right behind the backstop—not hidden away in underground batting tunnels.
- Defensive Reps & Bullpens: Clean, focused blocks to take ground balls, fly balls, work behind the plate, or throw a true bullpen.
- 2-Way Ability: Our dynamic structure perfectly accommodates utility and two-way players, ensuring you don’t have to sacrifice one position to show off another.
- Perfect Timing: Held over Columbus Day Weekend, this is the FINAL day for D1 college coaches to evaluate players off-campus until next summer.
Professional Minor League Stadium & Location
Coaches want to see how players perform on a big stage, and it doesn’t get bigger than this.
- The Venue: Come play at Heritage Financial Park, a professional NY Yankees Turf Minor League Stadium. College coaches routinely tell us: “If a player can perform on the stage at I95, they can perform for us.”
- The Blueprint Region: The I95 Corridor is the most concentrated area of collegiate baseball in the country. Within 120 miles of our events, there are over 175 colleges (including 50 D1 programs). Additionally, 15 of the top 25 academic colleges in the country sit within 150 miles.
- Travel-Friendly: Located just minutes off the highway with 4 major airports and premium hotels all within 50 miles.
Proven History & National Talent
Our reputation and deep relationships with college coaches draw a truly national player pool. Over the past three years, we have hosted players from 49 states and 4 countries. This event is a genuine, high-volume representation of the college baseball landscape.
- Verified Metrics: Receive trusted, accurate data that college coaches rely on, helping you understand exactly where you stand and what to target next.
- Recruiting Seminar & Q&A: Listen to an honest, transparent breakdown of the recruiting process from top college coaches, complete with a live Q&A session for players and parents.
- The Results: Over 975 I95 alumni have gone on to play college baseball, including 350+ D1 players.
Will you be next?
1. WHO IS I95 METRO BASEBALL FOR?
I95 Metro Baseball is for the high school student-athlete looking to maximize his opportunity to play college baseball. We are built for the goal-oriented, the hard workers, the dreamers, the overachievers, and those who simply love the game.
Our rosters feature the best players in the country, the top talent in their local areas, and the players who are still growing and maturing. If you are serious about your future and willing to put in the work, this is exactly where you belong.
2. WHAT IS I95 METRO BASEBALL?
We are your roadmap to college baseball. Our formula is simple, but it cannot be duplicated:
- The Best and Most Schools: Unmatched program volume and quality at every event (see specifics on our event pages).
- Professional Stadium Venues: A big-league setting designed specifically to showcase your individual tools.
- Elite Staff & Elite Relationships: The highest-rated staffing numbers and top-tier coach connections in the industry.
- Proven Structure: A dynamic, single-field layout managed by a dedicated, year-round team.
We aren’t just an event; we are the bridge between your hard work and your collegiate future.
3. WHY IS I95 METRO BASEBALL THE TOP FALL EVENT IN THE COUNTRY?
Simply put, we are the gold standard. Others claim to be the best, but there can only be one. What we offer—the specific college coaches who attend, our single-field structure, our professional staff, the minor league stadium setting, our deep athletic relationships, and the premium nature of the experience—puts I95 Metro Baseball on a separate tier.
Last Fall, we turned away 62 players who waited too long to register. Do not miss out. We send player rosters to the attending coaching staff every single week, so the sooner you sign up, the sooner you are on their radar.
No other showcase comes close. Here is why:
- Maximum Exposure: We feature the most college coaches (60+) and the most Division 1 coaches (35+) of any Fall event in North America.
- True National Reach: With programs attending from over 12 states and 20 conferences, this is a true national showcase. We list the specific names of the coaches attending, not just generic school logos.
- 100% Evaluation Focus: Attending college coaches are there strictly to scout and recruit, not to work the camp. They do not throw batting practice, hit fungos, or run drills. They are completely free to take notes, evaluate, and interact with players.
- Unmatched Staffing: We feature the largest event staff in the country to handle all the on-field logistics so the college coaches don’t have to.
- One Field, All Eyes On You: Every single activity is conducted on a single stadium field. There are no multi-field distractions or split coaching staffs; every coach sees every single repetition.
- Elite Stadium Venues: Our events are held exclusively at professional stadiums. This Fall’s event takes place on the turf at Heritage Financial Park (NY Yankees Minor League affiliate).
- Perfect Timing: We have strategically selected the final day of the off-campus recruiting calendar for Division 1 programs.
- Organized Structure: Sessions are organized dynamically by position and graduation year to maximize individual exposure.
- Data-Driven: We provide highly detailed player packets to college coaches on-site, and deliver verified post-event metrics to both coaches and families.
- Proven History: We have achieved over 850 college commitments from our last 15 events, including 200+ at the Division 1 level. Because we only host one exclusive Fall event, spots are highly premium.
4. HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE AT YOUR SHOWCASE?
This is our most frequently asked question. As the country’s premier, true national baseball showcase, we believe it is our responsibility to educate players and parents on how recruiting actually works.
High-level programs like: South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Duke, Florida, Coastal Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Johns Hopkins, Yale, Brown, Columbia, UConn, and Wake Forest do not fly out to small local camps with 50 players. They invest their time because of a deep, high-volume national talent pool across multiple graduation classes all performing on one field.
To maintain strict evaluation standards, we never allow more than 100 position players on the field at one time. We cap positional availability based on the exact structure requested by college coaches to ensure optimal viewing pacing.
Consider this perspective: families routinely travel to multi-field tournaments featuring hundreds of teams across 20 to 40 fields, just hoping a single coach catches a few innings. Yet, sometimes they look for a showcase with very few players. A smaller player pool means a smaller coaching draw.
Our event is a pure scouting, evaluation, and recruiting environment, which is why we average 75 college commitments per event. If another showcase tells you that college coaches are “working” the camp, it means those coaches are busy running drills, hitting fungos, and collecting data instead of watching your son. At I95, the coaches are locked in on the field with detailed player packets in their hands.
Regardless of whether there are 25 or 250 players registered, our unique format guarantees each position its own showcase spotlight. We take our time and ensure every player is evaluated exactly how the college coaches want. Focus entirely on your skills, metrics, and execution—we will take care of the rest.
5. WHY IS YOUR FALL EVENT HELD ON THIS DAY?
This is the final day of the recruiting calendar for Division 1 programs to evaluate players off-campus. You will not see another D1 coach at an outside event, tournament, or camp after this date. Coaches heavily utilize this specific date to finalize their current senior classes and establish their top follow lists for the upcoming graduation classes.
6. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE I95 METRO BASEBALL SKILLS SHOWCASE PLUS EVENT?
Our goal is to provide the ultimate collegiate showcase experience. Weather permitting, registration includes:
- Full 1-day showcase access and field rotation.
- Verified player metrics compiled and distributed to all parents, players, and coaches.
- On-field recruiting talks led by top college coaches from across the country.
- An educational, comprehensive pre-camp recruiting seminar.
7. WHERE HAVE PAST I95 METRO BASEBALL PLAYERS COMMITTED?
Entering our tenth season, we have produced over 950 total college commitments, including more than 225 at the Division 1 level. You can view our full, verified commitment list via the dedicated link on our website.
8. WHAT TIME IS THE I95 METRO BASEBALL STADIUM SERIES?
We run a highly precise schedule. The event operates from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, split into two separate shifts. Your specific session time will be posted exactly 72 hours prior to the event.
Because over 65% of our rosters consist of players flying in from across all 50 states and multiple countries, the integrity of the schedule is paramount. We break down shifts strictly by positions and graduation classes to optimize exposure, so we cannot accept personal scheduling requests. Expect your specific session to last between 5 and 6 hours.
9. DO PLAYERS TRAVEL TO YOUR EVENT? WILL YOU HOLD EVENTS IN OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY?
Yes. We have welcomed players from all 50 states and five countries over the last several years. We are a premier national showcase, and our venue is intentionally located in the ultimate collegiate “hub”—featuring the highest concentration of academic colleges and baseball programs in the country within a 180-mile radius. Because of this geographic advantage, an event of this magnitude can only be held in this specific region.
10. DO YOUR EVENTS SELL OUT?
Yes. Our last 29 consecutive events have completely sold out. We highly recommend signing up well in advance. We distribute updated rosters to our attending coaching list bi-weekly so they can track registered players leading up to the showcase.
11. ARE THERE LOCAL AIRPORTS NEAR THE EVENT?
The following major airports are located near our stadium venue:
- New York Stewart International (SWF): 15-minute drive
- Hudson Valley Airport (POU): 15-minute drive
- Newark Liberty International (EWR): 1 hour, 10-minute drive
- LaGuardia Airport (LGA): 1 hour, 10-minute drive
- John F. Kennedy International (JFK): 1 hour, 20-minute drive
12. DO YOU RECOMMEND ANY HOTELS?
Families are free to choose any lodging that fits their needs. There are over 75 hotels within 15 miles of the stadium. Below are several well-established options close to the venue:
- Courtyard by Marriott (Fishkill)
- Extended Stay America Suites (Fishkill – Route 9)
- DoubleTree by Hilton (Poughkeepsie)
- Hampton Inn & Suites (Poughkeepsie)
- Home2 Suites by Hilton (Poughkeepsie)
- Brinckerhoff Inn Bed & Breakfast
13. WHAT HAPPENS IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER?
Our events are strictly Rain or Shine. All activities are weather-permitting, and we do not issue refunds, transfers, or credits.
In the event of inclement weather, our staff will do everything possible to ensure the skills portion is completed safely and players receive maximum exposure, which may include extending operating hours or moving to a premier indoor facility within 30 miles. Because all stadium expenses and coaching commitments are settled well in advance, no refunds or future credits will be issued once the event is within 14 days of start.
14. WILL WE PLAY A GAME AT THE FALL SHOWCASE?
No. The explicit focus of this event is on your individual skill set. Players compete in dozens of team games all Spring, Summer, and Fall. However, in a standard 9-inning game, you might play the entire day and only receive a couple of defensive chances or three at-bats.
College coaches explicitly requested this one-day skills format because they want to see your pure toolset: live on-field batting practice, defensive ground balls/fly balls, catcher POP times, and controlled bullpens. Recruiting is about the individual, not the team. While data shows only about 3% of players in standard tournament formats go on to play college baseball, our individual skills showcase structure has yielded a 37% player commitment rate.
15. WILL BATTING PRACTICE TAKE PLACE IN THE CAGES OR ON THE FIELD?
Weather permitting, all batting practice sessions take place directly on the main stadium field, with the entire college coaching staff evaluating from less than 25 feet away behind the backstop—not hidden away in underground tunnels.
16. HOW DO YOU RECORD PLAYER METRICS?
Our professional event staff records all official performance measurables, including: positional throwing velocity, pitching velocity, exit velocity, catcher POP times, and 60-yard dash times. These verified metrics are uploaded to an individual player profile page and sent directly to parents and players within 21 days post-event.
17. WILL I95 METRO BASEBALL SEND THIS INFORMATION TO COLLEGE COACHES?
Yes. Every attending coach and program receives full digital access to the verified master data sheet exactly 2 days after the event, allowing them to instantly sync metrics with their recruiting databases.
18. WILL PLAYERS HAVE A LUNCH BREAK?
No. To maximize on-field evaluation time for the college coaches, our AM and PM sessions run continuously without scheduled meal breaks. Players should plan accordingly around their shift times.
19. WILL MY SON RECEIVE A RECRUITMENT VIDEO FROM THIS EVENT?
No. This specific event is entirely dedicated to the live stadium showcase experience in front of our attending coaching staff.
For players seeking a full digital recruiting profile, I95 Metro Baseball hosts separate, specialized Combines that provide multi-angle video recording, advanced metrics, and custom profile reports.
20. ARE PARENTS PERMITTED TO ATTEND?
Yes. Attendance is entirely free, and parents are highly encouraged to watch the showcase and listen to our featured collegiate speakers.
However, parents are strictly prohibited from sitting within the first 4 rows of the stadium seating bowl. Attempting to speak with, coach, or interact with your son on or near the field during the event will negatively impact their recruitment in the eyes of the college coaches.
21. WHAT DOES TEAM REPRESENTATION MEAN? DO ANY SCHOOLS BACK OUT?
Every program listed on our roster is represented by an active coach—whether it is the Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Pitching Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, or Director of Player Personnel. We do not use placeholder logos or substitute video-analysis staff.
Every program on our confirmed list has re-verified their attendance with our office at least five times prior to the event. In rare instances of a personal family emergency or late coaching staff changes, a school may adjust their plans. Historically, over 95% of our advertised coaching roster attends in person. We pride ourselves on absolute transparency and honesty regarding our coach attendance.
22. WHAT IF MY SON IS A TWO-WAY PLAYER?
Our dynamic showcase schedule seamlessly allows utility and two-way players to perform at both their secondary position and on the mound over the course of their shift. Because college coaches want to evaluate you at your absolute best, it is vital that your primary position is listed correctly on your registration form.
23. WHAT IF MY SON IS A PITCHER-ONLY (PO)?
Pitchers remain the most highly sought-after position in collegiate recruiting. A controlled bullpen session on a minor league mound in front of 55+ coaches makes this an unmissable event for pitchers. The registration pricing and strict scheduling format remain identical for all players.
24. WHY DO PITCHERS THROW AT THE END OF THE SESSION, AND HOW MUCH DO THEY THROW?
Incoming college freshmen rarely begin their careers as starting pitchers. Based on direct feedback from college programs, coaches want to see how pitchers manage their downtime, warm up independently, and perform effectively after being at the ballpark for a few hours. Each pitcher will throw a targeted 11 to 14 -pitch bullpen session directly in front of every college coach in attendance.
25. WHAT SHOULD WE DO IF WE ARE INTERESTED IN A SPECIFIC SCHOOL?
We strongly recommend emailing any confirmed programs on our list prior to the showcase. Inform them of your sincere interest in their school, classroom environment, and baseball program, and let them know you will be performing live at the I95 Metro Baseball Fall Skills Classic. Our pre-camp recruiting seminar will outline the most effective strategies for post-event coach communication.
26. DO YOU OFFER REGISTRATION PAYMENT PLANS?
No. I95 Metro Baseball incurs substantial up-front logistical, facility, and administrative commitments immediately upon player registration. Because we secure your spot and instantly place you onto the bi-weekly roster updates sent to college coaches, all entries must be paid in full.
27. WHAT IS YOUR REFUND, CANCELLATION, AND CREDIT POLICY?
All payments are strictly non-refundable.
- 10+ Days Notice: Cancellation requests received at least ten (10) days prior to the start of the event will receive a 50% system credit. This credit is valid for 12 months and can be applied toward any future I95 Metro Baseball Stadium Series event.
- Less Than 10 Days Notice: Any cancellation request received less than fourteen (10) days prior to the event results in the immediate forfeiture of all registration fees, with no exceptions.
- Weather Conditions: All upfront commitments are finalized prior to the event date. No refunds, credits, or registration transfers will be granted due to poor weather or limited on-field activity.
28. WHAT IF MY SON GETS INJURED DURING THE EVENT?
We feature dedicated professional medical personnel on-site. Our core staff maintains active CPR and concussion certifications. In the event of a severe medical emergency, standard local ambulance protocols will be initiated. Please note that no registration refunds or credits can be issued for injuries.
29. WHAT TYPE OF BATS ARE PERMITTED?
All players must use standard -3 BBCOR bats.
30. CAN PLAYERS WEAR METAL CLEATS?
No. To preserve the professional playing surface, players must wear turf shoes or molded cleats. Metal cleats are strictly prohibited.
31. DOES I95 METRO BASEBALL SUPPORT ANY CHARITABLE FOUNDATIONS?
Yes. I-95 Metro Baseball is a proud partner of Go4theGoal® to help support children battling cancer and their families. Through our collective participation in Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer®, Go4theGoal provides critical financial assistance, grants wishes, coordinates unique hospital programs, and funds innovative research. We thank all of our athletes for helping make a difference.
32. IS THIS EVENT OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION CLASSES?
Yes. I95 Metro Baseball is open to any high school graduate within the designated graduation years (limited strictly by positional availability).
33. ARE THERE ANY REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS OR SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE?
No. In strict compliance with NCAA rules and regulations, all participating athletes must pay the same registration fee. We cannot offer athletic scholarships, financial hardship waivers, or individual discounts. While we occasionally issue temporary seasonal promotional codes, our positions typically sell out long before codes are used.
34. ARE YOU AFFILIATED WITH ANY OTHER BASEBALL SHOWCASE COMPANIES?
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Since establishing ourselves as the premier national showcase, outside organizations regularly attempt to duplicate our model. Do not mistake cheaper facsimiles for our program. I95 Metro Baseball is the true gold standard, and the only authentic events we operate run strictly under the official I95 Metro Baseball – Stadium Series banner.
Evaluation, Skills & Verified Metrics Day
Stop Hoping. Be Part Of The Best.
Games, games, games. All Spring, Summer, and Fall, players run from complex to complex playing countless tournament games. But in a standard 9-inning game, you might play all day and only receive a couple of defensive chances or three at-bats—and you are left completely at the mercy of hoping a coach happens to be at your specific field for that exact moment.
Recruiting is entirely about the individual, not the team. While data shows that only 3% of players who participate in standard tournament formats go on to play college baseball, I95 Metro Baseball’s targeted format delivers real results: 37% of our showcase players commit to play baseball at the next level.
College coaches explicitly requested this exact date over Columbus Day Weekend and this exact format because they don’t want to chase teams around multi-field complexes. They want to see your pure, individual toolset under a single stadium spotlight. Our one-day showcase is 100% about YOU.
The Elite Showcase Environment
We provide a dynamic structure built for maximum evaluation pacing. Players are assigned to focused groups and put through rigorous, position-specific testing blocks where every single coach watches you simultaneously:
- Infielders, Outfielders & Catchers: Lock in for clean, high-repetition defensive evaluation blocks to showcase your footwork, glovework, true positional velocity, and POP times.
- Live On-Field BP: Hit directly on the main stadium field with the entire college coaching staff evaluating from less than 25 feet away behind the backstop—not hidden away in underground batting tunnels.
- Pitchers & 2-Way Dynamics: Every pitcher throws a targeted 11 to 16-pitch bullpen session from a professional minor league mound directly in front of every single coach in attendance. Two-way players have a seamless, structured window to showcase their fielding, hitting, running, and throwing without having to sacrifice one position for another.
Focus entirely on performing at your absolute best—our massive, 15-person staff handles all the dirty work (running drills, throwing BP, hitting fungos) so the college coaches don’t have to.
The College Coach Recruiting Seminar
We aren’t just an event; we are your active roadmap to college baseball. During the showcase, several of the top college coaches in attendance will conduct an informative, highly transparent recruiting seminar and Q&A session for players and parents.
Get an honest breakdown of the updated calendar, compliance rules, and the best communication strategies directly from elite programs including Duke, Vanderbilt, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Richmond, Alabama, and many others.
